Wolfe Electric Honored for Excellence
LINCOLN, NE March 15, 2006 Wolfe Electric Company Inc. has been honored with the 2006 Ninth Annual “Excellence in Construction Award.” This marks the third consecutive year Wolfe Electric has been recognized. Wolfe Electric is an electrical construction company doing business in and around the Lincoln and Omaha areas since 1977.
The Cornhusker Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) presented the award to Wolfe Electric in recognition of the company’s work on the Ameritas Home Office located in Lincoln. On behalf of the employees of Wolfe Electric, CEO and President Richard Wolfe accepted the award during the Excellence in Construction Banquet held at the Doubletree Hotel in Omaha.
“The attention to detail and superior quality demanded by the owners is clearly seen throughout the structure,” said Wolfe. “We are very proud of the work performed by our team of skilled employees and honored to have been a part of this project.”
ABC’s awards competition is designed to publicly recognize the quality and distinction of merit shop construction projects. Entries were evaluated by independent judges on craftsmanship, execution and coordination, budget and scheduling, owner satisfaction, difficult or unusual challenges, and safety. Wolfe Electric is now eligible to enter ABC’s National Excellence in Construction Awards Program.
The Cornhusker Chapter of ABC represents more than 250 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, manufacturers, and associate members throughout the state. There are 80 ABC chapters nationally with over 23,000 member companies advocating the merit shop philosophy, which stresses merit rewards for employee performance and promotes high quality construction at competitive rates.
